First Friday Art Walk

Sedona, AZ – November 1, 2024 – Immerse yourself in a vivid celebration of Día de los Muertos at the Gallery of Modern Masters’ First Friday Art Walk! Join us at our lively pop-up location in the Hillside Sedona Courtyard, Suite CT-1-3, from 4 PM to 7 PM on November 1st. To mark this festive occasion, we’re extending a 15% discount on select pieces as we continue to bring life to our temporary space at 671 AZ SR 179.

This Friday, experience the original oil-on-canvas masterpiece “Pan-Da-Dulce” by Pete Tillack, a tribute to the vibrant spirit of Día de los Muertos. Rich in emotion and symbolism, Tillack’s work radiates the beauty of life in every brushstroke. Take in this one-of-a-kind piece before it finds its forever home!

Adding to the gallery’s festival of color, Janet Blumenthal unveils her latest alcohol ink creations, each one dazzling the eye with candy-like vibrance. Blumenthal’s pieces capture the fluid beauty of her artistic process, bringing scenes to life in hues that dance and sway with rhythm and joy. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet the artist herself and discover the inspiration behind her work.

Licha Ochoa Nicholson, drawing from her Mexican heritage, will showcase her delicate porcelain pieces, crafted to honor the traditions of Day of the Dead. Each vessel in Nicholson’s collection is a narrative masterpiece, where time and culture blend, and every curve and contour tells a story that resonates deeply.

We’re also thrilled to debut a broader display of glassworks on newly arrived pedestals! These shimmering glass pieces, which haven’t graced our gallery in some time, add a captivating touch of brilliance to this spirited celebration.

Join us for a festive, art-filled evening of vibrant colors, warm company, and a sip of wine (or perhaps a lollipop) as we celebrate Día de los Muertos in the heart of Sedona!
